He, Bernier, wants to use spies. the least trustworthy people in the world, to judge immigration and immigrants. A libertarian wants to abolish CSIS, this is fundamental. It is not an immigration issue, it would be easier to handle everything more believably without CSIS. Without espionage.

A Foreign Policy Focused on the Security and Prosperity of Canadians

Aside from targeting the UN as an evil, it’s either half assed for very Security happy. Not you have a right to personal security (means to defend yourself) not national security. You know people this pleased with Security will trade it for Liberty, and as a wise man once said, to do so means you deserve neither.

Common-sense approach to gun control

They want to replace one thing with another horrible thing. “Replace the costly and burdensome licensing system with an efficient lifetime certification system for firearms owners following mandatory vetting” for instance is still a massive restriction and presumption of your guilt for wanting a gun to protect yourself.

This is hurting the liberty movement. He seems to think there is a lot to decentralize, not the feds do nothing that can’t be eliminated except education funding and that can fund something like voucher programs without taxing individuals at all.
