Tent City is a poverty pimp ruined idea, that could have been a homesteading movement, they could done the same, but instead of turning it into a mess, organizers could have shown they could build on an occupied piece of land, grow something, do something with it to better themselves and others.
But they didn’t, the organizers were content to use the poor as propaganda pieces.
