There is only one proper law ever written for the preservation of the natural right to self preservation and defense, defense of others.
It’s the “Right to keep and bare arms, shall not be infringed.” The second thought in the Second Amendment of the USA. I would not but any buts on a natural right, nor would I tolerate any.
There is no benefit from the “I believe in gun rights…but…common sense gun control…”
There is no common sense and “but” is the word that should be redefined as “cop out” in the context of natural rights. One other uses are in the factor of Free Speech and Due Process.
There is no but, and there is no safety. Canada’s similar “shall not be infringed” is the right to personal security. I would take that as not “state security” or a collective security.
It’s PERSONAL SECURITY! Something by your own means. Still not as well written as the US 2nd Amendment. Enforced much worse than the 2nd as well.
So there is no good enough argument for any gun control at all. Nor due process or free speech circumvention.
What kids shot in schools? Yeah not allowed to have guns there.
See the more they get guns, the more they will legally consider words as violent weapons. That isn’t good either.
