Assuming Tim Moen doesn’t win, he’s said in the past, he’s been waiting to pass it on to someone who can do it full time. Leader.
Why East Van? Historically when we are on the ballot, it’s our Strongest Constituency.
If I am the only winner, it will likely fall on me as acting and okayed by Convention.
Other pluses. I am a more Individualist on taxes and rights.
As Tories believe in Corporation is a Person mentalities. Collectivists who peddle tax rebates, not cuts.
I would be in a better place, fiscally closer, but not them, to deal and do best for the Constituency than any of them, including the Conservative who’d have to vote with the ranks.
Kwan, Burns won’t be listened to. (Neo) Liberals are more like those (Neo) Cons than let on, all be it Demers has a good hand shake, suggests an honest side that either will be crushed by rank voting or he’d just end up third party of sorts, but it’s a huge risk. As with the PPC, granted she has a good side there, but if you look at Reform History, being outnumbered puts members of Con-Angled Parties into mergers.
Libertarians are never pragmatic, it’s pragmatic and no strategy. You know where we stand, and at worst you get what the others deliver and promise not to.
Also Con-Angled Parties, Neo Liberals, they will never win out here. A Classic Liberal is as close as anyone on that side will really have a chance, and again are not Pragmatic, and really if there is a vote split, that is owned by pragmatists who believe it and caused by them.
I see little future in Party Leaders anywhere here. Besides myself. Which can be good for our area.
