Showing up to vote is the primary importance. Yes your guy, your principled positions and desires may lose and fail. But Government, no matter who wins to make or criticize it after is not the only reason to vote. It’s also sending message, and showing you are paying attention.
100% or 90% turnout, even if you write N/A in the circles and write a name in silver gel you want on there, you put a scare in those “in charge,” they may make bad decisions, but less so, because they have to walk on more egg shells, more people who are watching.
Likely better, if you can avoid it, to do an early vote, regular day voting gives you more time to discover information.
