Vancouver East Map
Help. Signatures. People who can get signatures, looks like enough of us to maybe find a way to set up a Liberty Rally, or campaign
gathering at Pandora Park.
I have to get 100 signatures and then some (meaning they sometimes reject them. I did it alone, almost last minute last time on a bad knee, so any help can ensure more campaign time with a solid ballot place.
I may need scruiteneers, the actually shaved votes off me because I didn’t last time, but that comes later.
If you go on initiative and want to print signature pages to collect them it’s page 17. One with my name and stuff on it. Same person taking the signatures needs to initial every petition line on a page as the witness (second last box).
Planning to go off starting today to collect.
August 14th is the goal, LPoC Convention Day, for the good news. No call yet, Elections Canada is in Prep Mode.
The more the merrier, 10 people getting 10 signatures and almost finish it, ideally 20 getting roughly 20. Might want up to 150.
Nominations close on August 31s, like to be done a week before.
Phone/Signal or Text (6043746307) me/Gmail: tobjws AT gmail.com or provincial party golok.buday AT libertarian.bc.ca my phone gets that as well. My voicemail is crap. Can’t get in.
You can e-mail to my (buday4vaneast AT eastvanlibertarian.com) laptop.
You can dm me on Gab or Twitter or FB if you want. FB is the rarest visit.
After On Ballot: Word of mouth, retweeting/regabing/reminding social shares in general are great as well. Spreading flyers. I will either adapt my provincial signs or I’ll try to have Federalized versions made. If there are good places for them to be seen.
Wearing the buttons after I have them made would be great.
I’d like you all for being members of the Party and Movement. Also for any help you offer in advance.
Do let me know what your planning on doing to help as well.
Point out I am disabled with people, I am Bi, although not a overtly active disco queen, I am still an LGBT voice, if a person says “no sorry I am with a leftist party,” they claim the believe in elevating LGBT voices. Ask NDPers why they fear me being on the ballot, or remind them “It’s not a vote, or endorsement,” it’s a ballot access thing.
Basics: Anti-War, Anti-Drug Laws, School Choice, Non-Corporate for Free Enterprise. Believe Individuals and Sole Business Owners should pay no tax (if at a store).
The map link describes the district well. Generally between Renfrew and Main and E14th and the Harbor.
If many of us can hit our neighborhoods, we’ll do quite solid. I am still doing it, but it’s slow on a bad knee and cane.
Look forward to meeting you all and shaking your hand.
Thanks to all of you.
